It’s been nearly eight months since Ink October

It’s been nearly eight months since Ink October 2024 ended, but I’m still drawing. 😺
Here’s my latest ink illustration: A suit of scale mail armour.
Drawing the tiny scales and the shoulder set inlays took forever, but I’m actually quite happy with the result. 🖌️🎨☕️
The armour is part of a Cleric’s set that I’m working on (for no particular reason, this Is Totally Not A Side Project…)

But now it’s time to get back to working on our upcoming book, Until Death Do Us Part!
We’re on the home stretch now, weeeee!

Here’s a step-by-step video of my latest fantasy battle map: A shipwreck that rests on the shore of Seabridge Island.
This schooner will never set sail again, but some of its crew remain on the ship - as undead creatures. They don't take lightly to intruders, and they guard a secret that the characters will need to solve the mystery!

Drawing this map was lots of fun! It's also a nod to a certain ship in a certain book that features a certain (very famous) vampire... 🐱
The map will be featured in our new adventure Until Death Do Us Apart, a Gothic Romance and Mystery adventure for 5e.

AS THE TWILIGHT HOUR fades into the night, the vil

AS THE TWILIGHT HOUR fades into the night, the villagers from Saltby gather at Wightcliff Castle to meet with the local vampire coven and the werewolf pack.
The castle is located on Seabridge Island, and it is only reachable during low tide across a winding causeway.

Among the werewolves is Faolïna Darkling, a tiefling bard and the newest member of the pack. She is leaning on an imposing darksteel trident and listens to a group of musicians who look increasingly nervous.

But does Faolïna have anything to do with Ada Borg’s disappearance? And will she tell you what she saw in the forest before she went to the castle?

Faolïna Darkling will be featured in Until Death Do Us Apart – a Gothic Romance adventure for 5e inspired by Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula! 🖤🗡️🦇

Faolïna is loosely based on my Baldur’s Gate 3 character, and brought to life by the amazing (human) fantasy illustrator Alaina Milare!
