It’s me again, the indecisive illustrator who can’t make up her mind, so please help:
Which colour do you think look best for the compass rose:
1. Red and purple
2. Royal blue
3. Orange and yellow

This is my first fantasy town map that I’ve made

This is my first fantasy town map that I’ve made using a dip pen, ink, and watercolours!
I think the map of Buckbridge is coming along rather nicely, if I may say so. 🐱
For the smaller illustrations, I decided to draw a grey hare (since Buckbridge’s main inn is called The Grey Hare) and a miniature picture of the old clapper bridge built by the Ironshield Clan. I added two crossed arrows for the compass rose as well to highlight the village’s hunting traditions.

AND SO IT BEGINS!

The ink fantasy map of Buckbridge village (which so many have asked for!) is complete!

We recently ran a poll which showed that most of our Kickstarter backers and fans really, really want us to write a campaign setting and sourcebook for Eastern Farraway – and this is the first step (I’m super-excited! Yey!!).

Eastern Farraway is a fantasy world in which all our adventures are set, and it is also where we have been playing Dungeons & Dragons for more than 25 years.

Initially created by me (Tove), Eastern Farraway has taken on its own life and drawn inspiration from our D&D group, as well as thousands of backers and fans.

The world is heavily influenced by Norse mythology and Scandinavian folklore, with a hefty dose of J.R.R. Tolkien, Robin Hobbs, and Robert Jordan.

I bid you welcome to Saltby, traveller. Our village's walls and guards will grant you safety - the woods are unsafe, and the roads are almost equally dire. Say, you wouldn't be looking for a quest? If so, I have a proposition...

Meet Asmund Borg, the stern but fair mayor of Saltby, a village on the realm's north-eastern shores. His work is demanding as the village is under constant threat of bandits and beasts. Fortunately, the village has entered a blood pact with the local vampires and werewolves, so the people of Saltby are safe from such horrors.

Or at least, they used to be.

Asmund is one of the NPCs in Until Death Do Us Apart – a new 5e adventure inspired by Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula!🖤🗡️🦇
